My name is Rick, and I go by the name Bansheguy here and a couple other places. This is my own personal web site, not some company site. The basic site is free to join and use, and always will be. There may be some advertising at some future time, but it will be kept to a minimum, and it will never be hidden in some normal seeming link. However, some features are restricted, and some may require a small payment to use.

Visitors should also know that this is a mature site. Consider the rating for the basic site to be PG 13. While "adult" content is not permitted in the basic areas of the site, it is still not a child's playground either. That means course language and innuendos can be expected from time to time. If you are easily offended, go find a cleaner site. Do not waste time asking me to "clean up" this one. Open and free discussion is probably not your cup of tea anyway.

Update in progress!

After I don't know how many years, I am finally updating this site's software. It has jumped from version 2.0 all the way to 8.3. So much has changed, that I have to do a lot of the work manually. That will take time, so please be patient. The information posted to the site in the past has NOT been lost. But I will have to copy it over to this site by hand, and that is a lot of work, and will take considerable time.

In the meantime, and as always, if you find something wrong, or something that doesn't work, let me or the admins know. A couple good ways to do that, would be to send us an email, or post a note on the forums.

Right now I know the image and file galleries are not working. Other things may be incomplete, or have some bugs.

Joining

Things like gender, age, size, weight, color, race, orientation, lifestyle, and planet of birth dont matter here. As long as you can be respectful and civil with others, you are welcome to join.

But Most things here are free to read and view without registering. So, if you just feel like dropping by now and then to read the story and maybe check out other things, you are welcome to do that. However only registered members will be able to post things or add to the story.

This site is home to a new online vampire novel Herashethra

While the idea for the story is mine, and I will be doing some of the writing, others will also be able to add to and change the story. Think of it kind of like a movie, where I am the producer and director, and others are the writers and stars. As a group effort, we should make something great!

But I will warn you right now, my vampires are a bit different from "normal" vampires. But they are just as evil and nasty. At least most are. The main character, Herashethra fights to remain a good person, in spite of his being a vampire. Its not easy tho, to resist the hungers and temptations that go with being a vampire. And it is not easy for a good vampire to survive in a world where he is being hunted by both humans who fear all vampires, and by other vampires who despise him for being different. On top of that, he has to find something to do with his time, to keep from going insane over the centuries of his life. And as if all that isnt enough, he also seeks a partner, an equal, to share the centuries with him. Can he do all that? Can he survive? Can he stay sane? And will he ever find the one he searches for? I came up with the story, but even _I_ dont know all of it. So I guess we'll be finding out those answers together!
